An OnSite mobile unit travels to each client’s location and shreds their confidential documents using a specially designed cross-cut shredder inside the truck which is capable of shredding over 6,000 pounds per hour. Clients are encouraged to witness the destruction process while viewing a monitor screen installed on the mobile unit. Sensitive documents are shredded immediately, never leaving the site before being completely destroyed. After shredding, the confetti-sized paper is transferred to a recycling facility where it eventually is converted into recycled household paper products.
OnSite provides each client with a scale printout of weight for the paper that was shredded and a certificate of destruction upon completion of each job. Weekly, monthly, or an on-call service can be arranged to match each client’s needs. Locked storage containers are placed in offices for storing of confidential documents.
